In Indonesia there are so many kind of Swallow birds were flying over the sky everyday and a lot of them was nesting near the edge of precipice sea or in the house of the village people.
Now all the village people or the people from town the build a building to become a ‘swallow house’ so that this swallow can make a nest inside that house. The house made has to be a big and wide open space, why? Because the bird need temperature between 22° C for a leaving, stimulate similar with their original place for leaving like a cave near the shore.
The house have to build in the centre of the yard and free from any big trees, if necessary the human will make a pool around the house, so the water function is to keep the temperature inside was stable.
In order that the room keep dark, the house was build without a window s and just put a small holes for air ventilation, it only a few holes had to be open might be 3 or 4 holes, but the make it holes were take surround the house.
Inside the room, the wall had to be fleecy by the mud and have a dark and smell wall just like in the caves, also put as many as a small branches, and planks on the top of the roof to give a place for swallow birds to string up their nests.
Harvest time of the swallow nest were have to be done carefully so it will not damaged the nest itself, the reaping time usually take 2 times a year it was at April and November.
